Guest guest
Nonprescrcrpition medication for MIGRAINS my mom takes Migrain formula Advil right when the Migrain starts and for years she has taken FEVERFEW which is a herbal pill that you take everyday and she says her migraines aren't as bad but it takes a while for the Feverfew to get it to your system you can buy it at any drug store or I would guess any vitamin store. Deborah S From Burnaby anyone try nonprescription med for migraines? Hi fellow migraine suffers, Have any of you taken a herb or non rx med for your migraines. A friend of mine is loosing her insurance Oct 31 and can't pay for Imitrex or Relpax which work for her. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Guest guest
Thank you M and Deborah S for your help. Right now my friend might not like it but I think she will after her insurance runs out. I will tell her to take the meds as often as possible to keep it in her system. Guest guest
Hi I'm new here, but Devil's Claw may help as well as upping the calcium and magnesium (get glycinated version). I have daily migraines (associated with FM) and I use narcotics as a last resort. Hope this helps! Guest guest
Hi Lily, Thanks for the suggestions. Since my friend and I had thyroids removed, both our parathyroid glands haven't woken up yet. Side effect from the surgery. Both of us take calcium and magnesium but can't up the dose with doctor approval. I will tell her about the Devil's Claw. hugs, Debbie J > > Hi I'm new here, but Devil's Claw may help as well as upping the > calcium and magnesium (get glycinated version).
