Guest guest
Hi Doreen: Thanks for everything. My wound is healing wonderfully. I will see him again next week to be sure it is still healing that good. He booked my knee replacement for April 21st, a Tuesday. I can't wait to get it done and on the road to a complete recovery. Oh, the chair I bought is an elec. lift chair, and it is wonderful. Makes getting up out of the chair so easy. I am so glad I bought it!! I was reading your letter to Heidi, and saw you are still waiting for your SSDI approval. I hope you get it very soon. I know how hard it is for you without ins. The approval will make things in your life so much better. I keep you in my thoughts and prayers always. Wishing and praying for you to have many pain free days ahead. You so deserve it as I do know how much you are suffering. It is so hard to be in pain 24/7 with no relief in sight. Hope you get your approval very soon. Hugs, Barbara > > Just wanted you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you as you visit with your Ortho today. May your leg be healed enough that he will agree to your knee replacement. I know how much mobility means to you. > > What an awesome deal on the electric wheelchair!! That will come in handy in the days following surgery. > > Best Wishes, Love & Hugs.....Doreen >
Guest guest
Oh Barbara, I am sooo happy to hear they are able to schedule your knee replacement. May I suggest padded leg wraps until the 21st? Just kidding - but I know how you are so looking forward to pain free mobility once the knee replacement is done. An electric chair lift - oh, what a good idea. Hubby's aunt used to have one and it made getting up and down so much easier. That will be useful for you after surgery as well. Thank you for your prayers and well wishes. They do mean alot to me. Guest guest
Hi Doreen: Yes, my lift chair is wonderful. Makes my life and getting up so much easier. I didn't realize how great they are until I bought mine. Boy, it is so humid here and very windy. My knee is so bad today. I am sure it is due to a storm approaching. I am sure it is the same where you live. Wish it would pour buckets, as we need the rain so badly. Wishing you pain free days ahead. Hugs, Barbara > > > > Hi Doreen: > > > > Thanks for everything. Guest guest
Barbara... I try to be very frugal with air conditioning. When the weather gets muggy like this, I close all windows and blast the Air Cond. I think of it as a pain pill. I need to do it or be in agony. May I suggest a portable unit for your bedroom so you don't make others uncomfortable and it is more cost effective. The countdown is on for your surgery. God bless.... Guest guest
Hi : Thanks for your suggestion. Right now it is very breezy and the humidity is gone. Believe me, no one hates humidity more than me. I run the A.C. when that humidity hangs around. Hope you are feeling better each day.
