Good Morning Everybody

I've been up since about 3:30!! Devan won't hardly sleep for anything.

It's been this way for over a month now. Does anybody else have trouble

sleeping? Dev woke me up one night last week and told me he had a

nightmare. I got up and talked with us, as I always do. I asked him what

the nightmare was about and here's what he told me.

He said, " Mom, I was asleep and you called my name at least 10 times. I

didn't wake up. " He paused and looked at me and almost trying to apologize

for not waking up in his dream he said, " but Mommy, I couldn't wake up....I

was dead. "

Well, needless to say, my heart about fell to my feet. He has been having

bad dreams for a while now. Anybody dealing or have dealt with this? I

always get up and talk with him but unfortunately it's getting to the point

that I don' t get much sleep either and half the time I can't function at

the hours he's needing me to. I can't help but wonder if he's comfortable

at night and just can't rest well. This has been going on for quite some

time though.

Another thing....Our neuro told us to watch for flu-like symptoms without a

fever. He said if this happens with Dev to contact him immediately because

it's a good sign that fluid is building up around the cerebellum(?) I think

that's the part of the brain he said. Anyway, does this sound familiar to

you all?

HELP! :o)

Tonia
