Guest guest
Hi Welcome to the group. This is a great group of people who all care. I am 52 and live in Northern New Jersey.I have RA, Fibro, IC, OA Diabetes, High Blood pressure and have had 2 strokes. By the Grace of God I am pretty much able to function normally. My Mom had Lupus and lived a long life, she had good days and bad just like we all do. Sounds like you hit the jackpot with Drs. There are a lot of good ones out there its just hard to find them sometimes. Feel free to ask any questions, offer advice, or just vent that is what makes this group so special we are all here ti help each other get through these D#*# diseases. Guest guest
Hi , I'm from the Uk and you will be so glad you came on board. I'm the same ,can only type with 1 hand and it's not my usual hand neither. But like everything else, we adapt!!! If you share the same birthday with your doc, maybe you also share an insight to medical matters too. Use that ability to do some research and get genned up, it's surprising how much better you can feel when you're in the know. We are all sharing as far as diseases are concerned, but we are all individuals and respond to drug treatments differently. Hope you find the cocktail for you soon. Best wishes x From: snowmen_rules@... <snowmen_rules@...> Subject: [ ] intro myself Date: Sunday, 5 April, 2009, 1:57 AM hello group my name is lisa 43yrs old from philly, pa suffer from SLE bipoloar disorder chronic asthma & just had a mini stroke back in september there are days that nothing seems to bother me & then there are days i wish i would just die I was diagnosed 9 1/2 yrs ago with the lupus and what makes it even harder for me is that my mther also had it & passed back in 93 there are times that i see me going through things she went through & makes me very scared my dr is the best though because he will let me sit there and let my emotions out or we will sit there & have a decent argument & we even have the same birthday which i think is pretty cool now that im on disability im just not used to doing much of nothing day in & day out so i got hooked up to the internet & decideded to find a group or two to talk about all this hell im apologizing for any typos because i can only type with one hand
