Guest guest
a, I personally would hold off on lab tests. They are not 100% accurate and only tell you to begin an elimination process which you could do anyway. Try eliminating the most common offenders such as corn, soy and eggs for about 4-6 weeks. Then reintroduce them one at a time to see if there is a reaction. If he's craving eggs, that would be my guess as these kids usually crave what feeds their " addiction " . Also, is it possible he's eating something that you think is GFCF and isn't? It would help you greatly to keep a journal of his eating habits, what he eats and at what time of day. You might also note things your son asks for that he's not allowed. Dolores " I'm really having a difficult time with the whole situation since I saw so much progress in the beginning. Now what? Where do we go from here. The first thing I could guess is that there's some other protein that they're not digesting or breaking down, but what, which one. My son really likes eggs (high in protein) and rice. But the only way to really uncover things is to be tested. So I'm personally considering having labwork done and a full blown test on his protein/peptide levels, etc. "
