The last few nights I've been wanting to eat continuously while watching tv. I caught myself mindlessly refilling my snack bowl. I was trying to figure out what was wrong...what emotional reason could I have for this eating. I haven't been that bad in quite awhile. Well, I couldn't figure it out. Then I realized it was WHAT I was watching. I have Season 3 of the Gilmore Girls on dvd from the library and I've been working my way through it. They eat A LOT on that show! I think that was the problem. They are always getting coffee and going to Luke's diner and going to Loralei's parents for their Friday night dinners and scenes of Sookie cooking in the kitchen in the inn and Loralei and Rory get junk food a lot. They never actually show them eating much but they allude to their big appetites and eating

lots of junk.

So no wonder I felt like eating...there's a lot of food in that show!!

Another thing about the show... I love the character Sookie. She's overweight but she's so beautiful and confident in her career and happily married! It's so refreshing to see an overweight character who is happy! She's still the kinda wacky sidekick like most overweight characters but unlike the main character (Loralei) she's happily settled down while Loralei struggles in her lovelife. Usually the fat one is the single one that struggles at dating.

I didn't watch the show until the last couple of seasons so I'm happily watching the dvd's now.
