Hi Dennis.  I was so sorry to read that you had a bad fall.  As if you didn't

have enough going on already.  How are you feeling today?

 

I am happy you decided to change Rheumy's.  I hope this one really helps you and

listens to you. I know what you mean about Pred.  I have never been able to get

off it, nor would I have any kind of life without it.  I hope I can stay on it

forever.  These drs. need to know that we listen to our bodies and know what we

need to maintain some sort of life.  Pred. is a wonderful drug and works

wonderfully  for me.

 

I hope your recovery from you heart surgery goes good and you will soon feel

much better.

 

My foot surgery went well, but it has become infected.  It is in the worst place

possible as when I stand, I am standing right on the incision.  I just finished

one week of anti-biotics, saw my Dr. and he said it is still infected, so I am

on another week of anit-biotics.  I called my Rheumy who told me  to stop my

MTX, which I forgot to do.  I will not inject this week or next week.  I am sure

the MTX has hampered my recovery.

 

He has said no pool, so I am starting my 4th week without going in.  Very hard

for me to do, but I am doing it.  I see the Dr. again next Mon. and so hope my

foot is healed.

 

Dennis, please take care and be careful.  Falling is just so hard on us.  Are

you using a cane at all?  I am using mine, as I don't want to to fall again.  It

does give me stability........

 

I hope you are resting as much as you can.  Glad to see you posting.  I wish you

many better days ahead.
