Guest guest
Hi, I am also a new member. My name is and I am the mother of 1 yo (DS). He is the light of mine and his fathers life. I am interested in hearing from any one who has their children on the Nutrivene vitamin protocol. We have had our son on it for just about 2 months. We are also interested in the piracetem and would like to hear from anyone who has any history with this drug. Also any hints on getting to crawl.... he knows to get on the hands and knees and rock, but can't seem to motivate him to move.

Hi , Welcome to the group. If I can remember way back when, when we were trying to get to crawl, I recall that they used to use cheerios or goldfish (or a desirable toy) and put him on a slight decline (it was a firm foam wedge) and put a trail of cheerios to give him some incentive to crawl. Good luck! R. Mom to (7, ds) and Grace (4)

Guest guest
Hi Leanne, Glad you found the group. You are so right about asking for the tests. There are a lot of people in this group that were misdiagnosed as well. " Its all in your head " being a phrase a lot of us know well. I feel lucky that I was diagnosed relatively quickly. Guest guest
Connie Welcome. What type of problems are you having? How did you fall and on what part of the leg? In August 2002 we were in an auto accident. The airbag hit my left knee and pushed my right hip back. The natural knee was swollen and sore and I had arthoscopic surgery to clean it out. It took months to feel better. As for the RTHR, it bothered me and got worse. Finally in May of 2004 they decided the stem was very lose. I had a revision in June 2004 and am now doing great. So it takes time for an injury to heal. It may also take time to see if anything is wrong with the prothesis. But you have seen your OS and PT and they are aware. I went back every six months until they saw the loosening. If it gets worse call the OS. Otherwise give it some time. Good luck. Sue > HI, > > My name is Connie and I am new to the group. Guest guest
Hi Connie, Did the doctor say there was no damage from the fall? Did he/she take x-rays or do an MRI? What kind of problems are you having? Is it continuous pain, or pain when you do certain activities such as stand or sit? Guest guest
I have pain in the thigh on the left side of the left leg and, when I try to get up, I can't explain the pain there but, it is painful. I fell off my bed landing on the left side of the left leg which is the side I had surgery on. I see the OS again on the 15th of April but, I am supposed to work alone tomorrow at my job and, I don't think I can do it. I know it takes time but, it doesn't seem to be getting even a little better. Connie tubbs8695@... writes: ConnieWelcome. What type of problems are you having? Guest guest
He said there was no damage to the new hip itself and, the x-rays showed no fractures or anything but, did say that I probably sprained my groin which is where a majority of the pain is. If I sit, sometimes it is okay but, sometimes it isn't. If I stand or walk around, it is excruciating sometimes. Guest guest
Hi Connie, Then maybe you should talk to a physical therapist? Perhaps a heating pad, icing or other treatment might help while the muscle repairs itself.
