Guest guest
How's that for an inviting subject? I'm scheduled *once* again for my tt and chest lift for July 20. I'm doing it in an outpatient surgical facility with a 23 hour observation before I go home. When I had this 22 years ago, I had to be catheterized *after* I was awake. Not a good thing. When I had my WLS, I held my hand in the shower while I was on the pot and was able to urinate. What has everyone else experienced? Is it worse for guys? Who needed a catheter that didn't have one? Guest guest
, When I had my hernia repair in Oct 99, I had to have a catheter inserted after the surgery. I had always heard how awful it was. It was tedious, in that it took a while what with the cleaning and everything. But it slipped right in without any pain. IMHO, it is no big deal. Now, is it different for men? I have no idea. ;^) In Charlottesville, VA
Guest guest
Not to bash men BUT.... I have put catheters in men and women. The procedure is basically the same for both. I find that the male gender seem to be a bit more whinny when it comes to this procedure. If you guys would just RELAX a little it would be much easier. Most people say they (male and female) feel pressure when the catheter is inserted.
