I had a related simple conversation with my bf the other day. I was

explaining to him that I really like to have a full fridge because

for so many years I kept it empty so that I wouldn't eat more than

my prescribed diet plan, but it just ended up making me want to eat

I said " When food looks limited, I want to eat it all quick before

it's gone. "

He said with surprise, " Really? When I think food is limited, I eat

less to make it last longer. "

I said, " Well, this is why I am fat and you are thin. "

He said " Oh! I never thought of it that way. "

I think he is starting to understand what goes on in my head. It's

as hard for naturally thin people to understand what we go through

as it is for us to learn how to eat " normally. "
