Guest guest
I had a related simple conversation with my bf the other day. I was explaining to him that I really like to have a full fridge because for so many years I kept it empty so that I wouldn't eat more than my prescribed diet plan, but it just ended up making me want to eat more... I said " When food looks limited, I want to eat it all quick before it's gone. " He said with surprise, " Really? When I think food is limited, I eat less to make it last longer. " I said, " Well, this is why I am fat and you are thin. " He said " Oh! I never thought of it that way. " I think he is starting to understand what goes on in my head. It's as hard for naturally thin people to understand what we go through as it is for us to learn how to eat " normally. " Meg IE since Feb '08 > > So I was on another IE support board and someone posted this: > > " I once read a little story about a fat woman and her thin husband, > and how they reacted to being offered dessert (or anything edible) > when they were both full. > > The wife reacted, " Yes please, I'm not stuffed. " > > The husband reacted, " No thanks, I'm not hungry.
