I would use sometime. Here's an explanation I found on the web:

" Let's get together sometime. " When you use the one-word form, it suggests some

indefinite time in

the future. " Some time " is not wrong in this sort of context, but it is required

when being more

specific: " Choose some time that fits in your schedule. " " Some " is an adjective

here modifying

" time. " The same pattern applies to " someday " (vague) and " some day " (specific).

The above leads me to believe that one could substitute " some time " for

" sometime, " but sometime

feels right to me in this case. My 2 cents. :P

The patient said that he needed to visit his primary care physician

(sometime, some time) soon.

Interesting. I never hesitated. I just would type sometime and on

occasion Stedmans spell check would correct it.
