I injured my back and that is what started the severe pain initially. My RA

Dr. said that I had it all along but did not have any great problem with

it until after injuring my back and had to have 3 back surgeries. I do have

days every so often where my back is the main focus for the pain and only

gets better after and injection for pain and bedrest. I have lower-lumbar

deterioration of the L4-L5 region.

Hi ,

I believe most people with RA have back pain. Why, because our pain makes us

walk different, sleep different, and sit different.  When I visit my

chiropractor, I normally have 3-4 ribs out of place,  and my hips and neck are

always out of alignment.  Hips and neck....these are the places that I have had

several, not 9 or 10, but several cortisone shots over the years.  I stopped

accepting cortisone shots over a year ago because no matter how much better they

make me feel for a month or so, the long term, I believe has damaged my body

more than helped.

Thanks for  listening.

Take care,

(musiclvr3237)
