Guest guest
Dear Family, I've been married for 3 years but my wife has been living with Lupus for the past 30. Prior to getting married, I had no idea that it was so enveloping: The daily medications, the frequent doctor visits, and the physical and psychological pain. To date, she's had 3 hip replacements, two shoulder replacements, and a knee revision all because of the steroids. I've been health all my life and to see this was a real eye-opener. That being said, I decided to make a documentary film on the subject. " Dealing with an autoimmune disease: Rheumatoid Arthritis and Lupus, " is available for viewing at my website. Visit http://www.claudeparker.com/lupus.php . It's about 30 minutes long, emotional, yet heartwarming. But let me share this with you: My wife is in the film and the most dificult part about the project for me was editing. There are two spots where she cries, and looking at them over and over (during editing) was gut-wrenching for me. I had to take a break a few times. Anyway, please enjoy the documentary film and forward the link so we can raise awareness. Thanks for listening.
