Guest guest
I know so much how you feel! I woke up with a crick in my back 2 months ago that has went to every joint in my body. Even my rib cage and collar bone. I have been so terrified wondering what the heck is wrong with me. I even sometimes think I could have cancer or some other horrible disease. My family thinks I am cracking up and sometimes I wonder that too! I have been to my family doctor, then a neurologist, and now am going to see a rheumatologist next Monday. They are not sure about my diagnosis yet either. I think the not knowing what is wrong is just as bad (if not worse) than the disease itself. It is hard to accept when you wake up not able to move just out of nowhere! I feel like I was 39 and just woke up feeling 80 the next day. Not too many joint problems before this either! Just stiff fingers and a swollen toe once. Just wanted to encourage you to hang in there and you are not alone. My cousin has had RA for the past 10 years. She lives a fairly, although a little limited, normal life. I'll be praying for you. God Bless. Susie in Indiana
