Guest guest
Hi All, I am doing somewhat better, but I don't know if it is the Vitamin D or just that the problem is lessening. I still have pain in my back, shoulders, and elbow. Family doctor is referring me to rheumatologist next Monday. He said that vitamin D deficiency is not causing me all these joint problems, although it could make it somewhat worse. He also said that RA sometimes runs in families and sometimes not. Pretty much, he says that it strikes whoever, whenever. He also confirmed that my negative RA factor does not mean I don't have some type of RA. I will let you all know how things are going later. I was really hoping the vitamin D would be the entire answer, but I really do think it is a symptom of the RA itself, if related at all. Hope you are all feeling well and pain free.... Guest guest
Hi Susie: I am glad you will see your Rheumy soon. I know you can't wait, and want to find out what is going on in your body. Having to endure pain day after day is just awful. I do know what that is like. Hopefully, when you get a diagnoses that you can get on some meds. to help you, and get our of your pain. I know when my RA reared its ugly head, I thought for sure I had either a brain tumor or cancer of the brain. It only took 5 days to go from a totally functioning woman, to a woman who could not dress herself, feed herself, walk, and was swollen and in pain in the entire body. It hit me so fast. It has taken me 6 years, but I have come far. My " cocktail " works great for me. I have my life back. I wish the same for you. We all have to fight our way to living a better life with these auto-immune diseases. Quite a challenge at times. Wishing you pain free days ahead.
