I am going to U of M on Monday because my primary care doc. is not sure what is

going on with me. I have had joint pain and stiffness for quite some time and it

is progressively getting worse . my blood work seems to keep coming back normal

but i have been told that in some cases the blood work will not show what is

going on. has any one else had this happen? I am frustrated because its hard to

tell the docs what is going on when they say well your labs are so and so and i

don't understand why you hurt. my joints will actually lock in place. this is

very painful and scary when i wake up screaming because my elbow is locked and

my husband has to move the joint for me. I also wake up very stiff when i wake

in the night and have to get up i literally have to shuffle my feet to make it

in to the bathroom . i have lots and lots of other issues when i have seen

specialists for other things they ask so who is your rhumatologist? my jaw is

even affected. does any of this sound familiar to any one. my hands swell and my

toes and ankles are extremely pain ful to touch or move i have bumps on some of

my fingers that when touched feel like i am rubbing bone on bone and . I guess i

am just looking to see if i am the only one going threw all this. I am only 34

and i feel like my body is 84. any way any info is greatly appreciated.
