Shadow on bone and doctore ordered 3 phase bone scan

Hi all,

I had pain in my coccyx area for about four weeks and went to my internal

med doctor this Monday. He ordered x-rays and told me to get a special pillow

for sitting. Then on early Wednesday, his nurse called me, said their was a

shadow on a nearby bone (sacral) and I needed a three phase bone scan which I am

getting on Monday. ANy clues what they are looking for and can it be nothing

serious?
