Guest guest
Hello all - I've been lurking for a while after my initial welcome. Processing information. Blessings to all who have responded to my questions. THANK YOU to all who have taken the time to share your experiences. I truly appreciate it. (-: Questions - what is " sensory overload " in the context of Chiari? Could some of you, who have not already, please share your decompression surgery hospital/recovery experiences? Trying to get a " real person " sense of what I may be in for. Is it automatic to get a spinal MRI to check for syrinx after the diagnostic MRI for chiari? I've read that they are usually (?) in the upper spine (phooey, just blanked on the " c " word!). How far down does that region go? How many vertebra (sp?) [sorry, clouding thinking day today] Also, does " ROM " refer to " range of motion " ? Thanks again, folks! Flam -- grumbling about the not-thinking-straight-AGAIN gig!
