Guest guest
I've been having sinus trouble too. I've had a toothache for the past several days, I'm going to see the dentist today. Guest guest
That does seem like a lot, doesn't it. I am not doing nearly that much. Dennis has got more energy than I do. I went bowling last weekend with my son. That's the most physical activity I've done in a while. -dz- --- Jannewilms42@... wrote: > Hey when do you rest???? Guest guest
That aint the half of it : You're right, first you have to cut it and lift it and get it to your house. Then you lift it and pile it; then it drys; then you lift it and split it; then you lift it and pile it; then you cover it; then you uncover it and lift it and put it in the wood shed; then you lift it and bring it in the house and put it in the wood box; then you lift it and finally put it in the stove! Oh yes, you lift some of it again when you take the ashes out. ( I get hot a lot - and tired too) I love doing it though - I love my wood. :-) Durn it Dave, I'm having tooth problems too - major filling fell out and possibly a root canal gone bad - I'll pray for you and you pray for me. Keep smilin, Dennis Re: [ ] Hi Friends > I've been having sinus trouble too. Guest guest
Jan About the 'remote' thing with your hubby....just get another remote(universal) & everytime he changes the channel- just click your remote to put the show that you wanted back on!! A lady just the other day said that is what she did/does! It took her hubby a long time to figure out what was wrong with that darn TV(g)!! as he didn't realize she had her own clicker. arlene Jannewilms42@... wrote: Hey girls...did yall learn about wood cutting and hauling like I did?????? Guest guest
To me anything floating in the air can't be too good for us anywhere. We had a train derailment last year and we were not evacuated but we were right on the line....The smoke and fumes were blowing our way but the RR Commission said that they wouldn't hurt us....OJ's attorney came here and said smoke and fumes have no stop sign..Some people made a killing off that incident. We(my family) could have as well but we were fortunate not to suffer any effects from it so why take advantage????? Guest guest
I know this sounds kind of stupid, but I wonder if all the dust released into the air from the towers is having any affect on us. There sure was a ton of it. I remember some years back there were wildfires in California and we could see smoke coming over the mountains in Colorado, so it may not be all that farfetched. I've had an awful toothache the past several days. I saw the dentist yesterday and he adjusted my bite a little bit, if it doesn't get any better by Monday, I'm to call him about a root canal. Yechhh! -dz- --- Jannewilms42@... wrote: > Well I'm hoping everyone's sinuses are better > today.I see it doesn't matter > where you live.......no matter the climate......you > will suffer with > sinus......Diane I sure hope you are doing ok > Hon......SJ..where are > you......... where's your pic???? Guest guest
I did, but I'm happy to say it again. I'm an avid (or is that rabid) Packer fan. We had a long wait to get in due to extra security, nobody was allowed to park on the blocks immediately surrounding the stadium. We had a very moving flag ceremony before the national anthem, I froze my fingers numb (it got down to about 30), and enjoyed a good ass-whupping put on by the Packers. 37-0. -dz- --- Jannewilms42@... wrote: > Dave you never commented on the game you went to!!!! > How was it.Maybe you did > and I missed the post!!!!! Guest guest
Didn't you see me? I was the one with the Green Bay Packers jacket behind the south end zone. We have quite a little rivalry with the Cowboys, even though we don't play them every year, we've had a lot of playoff games with them. The 3 or 4 years prior to the '96 superbowl win, it was the Cowboys who knocked us out of the race. It was them we played in the famous " ice bowl " for the championship (before the AFL was recognized as a legitimate league) It was -17 degrees and with seconds to go and 4th down and (1? 2?) Bart Starr sneaked the ball accross the end zone for the win. The Packers could have gone for a field goal and the sure tie, but as the story goes Vince Lombardi said that the fans have been freezing long enough, end it here, win or lose. -dz- --- diane214@... wrote: > Hey -dz- > Those Green Bay Packers looked real good the > other night. Guest guest
I lived in New Orleans the year that the fans started wearing bags over their heads, I think they went 1-15 that year. They've been in the thick of the battle though, quite a few times since then. -dz- --- Jannewilms42@... wrote: > I like the Saints and Cowboys myself.Gotta go for > the Aints cause they are my > home team..Poor things did good last year.Hope this > year is as good for them > __________________________________________________
