Hello. I was wondering if anyone has Psoriatic Arthritis? My hubby was diagnosed

a few months back and is on a bunch of skin creams for the Psoriasis and on

Methotrexate for the arthritis. The Rheumatologist and Dermatologist say the

Methotrexzte will help both problems once it's at steady dosage. Last week he

was upped to 6 pills. He has blood work on Aug 6th and follow up with the doctor

August 13th.So every Friday till he gets seen, he'll be on 6 pills. The skin

problems are considerably better. Been using the creams once (trying for twice)

a day. Just his schedule is rough.

Anyway, he had noticed when he was diagnosed that one of his finger nails and

one of the toe nails looked like that fungus infection. They said it's part of

the psoriasis and it could get better or he could lose them. The fungus medicine

will not work on it so why prescribe it. Yesterday he was cutting his toe nails

and a few of them are loose. He said looks like it's loose at the cuticle and

the only thing holding it on seems to be the center skin under it. I haven't

checked it out yet, but I most likely look at it tonight after he showers for

work. Has anyone experienced this? I know he talks to a fellow co-worker because

he has Lupus and RA and he's around the same age as my hubby (35yrs old).
