Guest guest
First of all I want to say hello to all the new members and to everyone else. I am so new to all of this so please bare with me. Well about an hour ago I finally got the call from my doctor and well guess what all my test are normal. which in a doctors stand point is great but for me i feel like they think its all in my head. And sometimes I wounder am I just crazy . what is going on with me i have no idea. I know I am feeling the pain that I am feeling and loosing the function of many of my joints little by little. like today typing is very painful and my fingers do not want to do what i want them to. just moving them feels like moving mountains.and the tired feeling i have in my joints when i move them they feel so tired like i have run a race and trust me i haven't. I am moving more than normal because i am afraid if i don't keep busy i will totally loose any flexibility i may have . Well on the 21st i have to go back to the hospital to get an ultra sound of my fingers to see if she can see the inflammation there. its not like i am hoping to be sick i just want answers. is this what 34 is supposed to feel like? I am so frustrated. and tired of not getting answers and that i am going to have to just live with it. well thank you for listening and i hope for a painless and non stiff day. northern Michigan. Guest guest
, Have you just seen a primary or are you seeing a Rheumatologist? In many cases, mine included, the tests came back negative but I have RA, there are other indicators of RA other than blood tests. If you have RA it is most important to get on a DMARD therapy asap. in PA [ ] Just got called by my new doctor First of all I want to say hello to all the new members and to everyone else. Guest guest
Hi , Welcome to the group. No you are not crazy. One day about 8 months ago I woke up with my left arm with severe pain. I saw my Rhuemy & he gave me a cortison shot & vicodin, the pain never went away. I was sent for physical theraphy for 3 wks & pain continued. The pain was worst at night. I am 53 years old & work in a stressfull occupation (telephone collections) I use the computer & need to type all day, this did not help my arm at all. My husband could not believe that the meds weren't helping, my doctor stated I was his most complicated patient, never the less I had to work. It almost took 5 months before the pain decrease slowly but during this time everyone looked at me as I was CRAZY. I guess this is part of the RA enviroment we all live through so hang in there & always feel free to vent that's why we are here.
