Guest guest
Hi ....you can do it. Good for you! My daughter is 40 and she quit smoking..started whe n she was 14 or 15 she says. She quit because she had some abnormal liver enzymes and had to stay in the hospital for a week. No smoking there so it was easier since she had a week under her belt of non smoking. the drs and nurses first question was do you smoke? she decided then and there to quit. she has been smoke free for a year now and loves it. Hang in there...we're here for you! Hugs a Ohio
Guest guest
That's one thing I did in order to quit. I had the flu at the time, so I just stayed in bed the entire weekend, getting up to eat some chicken soup and go to the bathroom. I wish a doctor would put my sister, who still smokes, to sleep for a few days. Then maybe when she woke up, she wouldn't want a cigarette. I don't understand why she doesn't even try to quit. I told her about Chantix, a prescription med used to quit, and she just said, " Well, I can't take some meds. " But she can poison her body with cigarettes. What logic! Congratulations to you on Day 4. Just keep hanging in there. You can do it! Sue On Sep 8, 2009, at 10:15 AM, eandsspivey wrote: > I'm just going to go back to bed and sleep. Guest guest
I'm using Chantix and I truly believe it is the reason I'm making it. > > That's one thing I did in order to quit. I glad I quit smoking. It cost $6.59 for a pack of cigarette now. I learn how much money I had save not smoking. > Chantix isn't for everyone. I was taking Wellbutrin for depression. Try going to the smoking cessation class as well taking something like Wellbutrin or Chantix to help you quit. > > Keep up the good work Christa I am trying to quite drinking pop it is day 3 for me and that is hard enough i can only imagine what you are going threw. just remember that you are stronger than you think best of luck northern michigan > \ Christa > > > > >
