Guest guest
Hi all, Well, I got the worst cold three weeks ago, and had no appetite at all. I didn't eat until I had to, and only enough to get me over the hunger pangs. I lost about two pounds, but figured it would come back, well it didn't, and after I got well I noticed I was eating that way still. I didn't automatically eat a meal when I got up like most of the diet books say to do. I waited as long as it took me to get hungry, and ate what I wanted whether it was a big meal, or a tiny snack. I have not only kept off that two pounds, but lost three more. My son is 11 months old, and I am two pounds away from my pre-pregnancy weight; granted that was still about 20 pounds above my ideal weight, but it is a major thing for me since with my other two babies I took years to get back down, and in the case before this pregnancy didn't lose all of it from the second pregnancy so I was scared going into my third with extra weight. Strangely enough the midwives didn't say much about it, and always praised me on gaining the right amount of weight. Maybe that went a long way to keeping me positive about the weight loss after this third baby. I am still a little cautious since I have been known to take off a few pounds, but put them right back on. I want this weight off, but like I told my husband I don't want it off badly enough to torture myself with restrictive diets. I try to eat a healthy diet, and I love exercise, so that is going to have to be enough. Alia
Guest guest
Hold that thought Alia and keep eating in response to hunger too. That's as good and simple a way to do IE as you can manage. Hope to hear more from you too. Katcha IEing since March 2007 > >I want this > weight off, but like I told my husband I don't want it off badly enough to > torture myself with restrictive diets.
