Guest guest
Have you used Blue-Emu? I know when the knees are bad you can hardly walk. I had arthroscopic surgery in my left knee because it was so bad I could hardly walk. After a few weeks of physical therapy I have been able to walk normal again. Guest guest
I feel so bad for your mother and her suffering. I buy " Bio-Freeze " at the Physical Therapy where I go. If you ice the area, then apply the Bio-Freeze, it takes away the pain for a few hours. It is a wonderful product for RA.  I hope this helps her.  Hugs,  Barbara From: Zoe S <zls823@...> Subject: [ ] Help for my Mom Date: Friday, August 13, 2010, 9:12 PM  My Mom is 83 and has RA in both knees. Plus I had R/A & Mixed Connective Tissue Disease. I was told I had 5-6 months to live as my lungs were so sclerosed, I could not breathe. I went on the Antibiotic Protocol and today I am in complete remission. Not a sign of any disease whatsoever. Try it Zoe~~~~Dolores From: Zoe S <zls823@...> Subject: rheumatic Help for my Mom rheumatic Date: Friday, August 13, 2010, 9:57 PM  My Mom is 83 and has RA in both knees. Guest guest
O24 is the best topical anti-inflammatory using natural oils that I've tried. You can find information about it at www.024zone.com . It is cheaper to buy from the site, but Shopper's Drug Mart in Canada sells it. rheumatic Help for my Mom My Mom is 83 and has RA in both knees. Guest guest
Zoe, Try eliminating all night shade plants from your Mom's diet as well and see if it helps; i.e., tomatoes, potatoes, bell peppers, & eggplant. Guest guest
Hi Kathy, So nice for your support and so happy that you do what you do and get results, I have been down, that, all the things she should do road but she does not do it consistently (as she feels very deprived). My only hope is that my own improvement will build her confidence. The sad part I grapple with is she would rather read her story books and chat about the news with people when she gets on the computer and so she does not take the matter into her own hands as you and I have which baffles me especially since she is a retired teacher (no lack of smarts there but maybe a ton of brainfog and confusion). She wants everyone to look after her and I just can't do that with my own health to recover. I want to pull my already thin hair out sometimes. You are even sweeter for checking out sites for me and I read that one when she was first diagnosed and excitedly told her but it went in one ear and out the other, I hate to say it but she can be a bit of a martyr but I won't give up. She saved my life when I was in the hospital with Thycan. > > > > Started my iodine today and a huge hug to all who have led me to my new life, thank you. > > > > My mom (70's) is a typical victim, synthcrap 35 years, 1 1/2 years ago had partial thyroidectomy (goiter) and thymoma removal (open heart surgery for it) at same time (brutal) and only a few years ago diagnosed with a rare disease called Myasthenia Gravis an autoimmune disease. Guest guest
Hi , I take LDN for fibromyalgia and it's turned my life around. I started LDN before I started iodine, and it may be that I would have gotten the healing I needed with just the iodine, but many of us are so ill that the assist the LDN gives is needed to have healing. The way it works is that it blocks the opioid receptors on the cells temporarily with the tiny dose each day, which prompts the body to produce more endogenous opioids, or as they are known, endorphins, which are the chemicals the body uses to heal itself. So the mechanism is as close as Pharma ever gets to holistic, because it simply allows the body to produce more of what it then decides how to use to heal itself. Science is discovering that a severe deficiency of endorphins is a shared characteristic of many if not all autoimmune issues. If the iodine protocol will work for people, that would be my first choice, but LDN is a good choice if more help is needed. my best wishes, -- ~~~ There is no way to peace; peace is the way ~~~~ --A.J.
