Guest guest
I used my tens unit until it finally bit the dust on me. Mine was for a back injury and it sure did help. It interrupts the pain signal between the nerve and the brain. I also have a 3 level fusion in my neck which I have a lot of stiffness, etc. from. It helped with the muscle tightness there. Sounds like you are having a flare up when the pain is intolerable. I've had days like that, and the next day I just felt worn out but the pain was manageable. Have you tried keeping a pain journal so your doc can see how you go on, day to day? Best wishes for better days. jane > has anyone used a tens unit for pain. i have one an i was wondering if > it would work for ra. i can't wait until i see my rummy on wednesday > of this week > the pain right now is not really bad it is just anoying and it has > been been there for a few days > > one other question i have pain sometimes that is so bad i can not > stand it and then the next day it will not be as bad as the day before > or i will wake up fine the next day just a little stiff is this notmal > or not > > melissa
Guest guest
, I have never used a tens unit. If you try it, let me know how it works. That is part of RA, you might not be able to walk today, but tomorrow you can. This is why people don't understand us:( Tawny > has anyone used a tens unit for pain. i have one an i was wondering if > it would work for ra. i can't wait until i see my rummy on wednesday > of this week > the pain right now is not really bad it is just anoying and it has > been been there for a few days > > one other question i have pain sometimes that is so bad i can not > stand it and then the next day it will not be as bad as the day before > or i will wake up fine the next day just a little stiff is this notmal > or not > > melissa
Guest guest
> > Dear Bee and group! This is very short as I feel i have the flu symptoms, it may be in part because my cheats were more serious cheats and i am not yet 100% on the program. Also i am running low on my supplements so i had cut back on them to make them last, i guess my body is pretty unhappy now > > there is a lot of body/head pain. usually i would take flu/cold pain killer, but i am resstong . > > i have feverfew at home, i am not well enough to go to my local health store to buy the willow bark, or other stuff. is feverfew ok instead of tylenol or aspirin? > > i made your garlic lemon drink, > took much more vit c than usual(as per Bees pain reccommednation) > taking some CO And fish oil +++Hi Liya. Your symptoms are called die-off symptoms which are common in candida sufferers, which include flu-like symptoms, body/head pains, etc. - read about die-off symptoms in this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal2.php You cannot avoid all die-off/detoxifying symptoms however, and symptoms should not be suppressed with drugs like tylenol or aspirin. You may find the garlic lemon drink causes more symptoms because you are just starting on the program and garlic is a strong antifungal, which will increase die-off symptoms. It is better to take lots of vitamin C at this time, to help your body deal with the symptoms. You say you took fish oil, but this program recommends you take cod liver oil which contains 3 very important nutrients, which are omega 3 (EPA & DHA), vitamin A and vitamin D. Those nutrients work together, along with other fats and oils on the program. Fish oil only contains omega 3 (EPA & DHA), and not any vitamin A or D. So please re-check what you are taking - see this article on cod liver oil: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/cod2.php To treat your flu symptoms see this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/colds.php Yes, you can use feverfew for headaches, and aches and pains. Also ensure you are taking the correct amount of calcium and magnesium. All the best, Bee
Guest guest
I visited my brother this week, and he persuaded me to buy some horse liniment for my back problem. I have spondylolisthesis, and the pain is in my left hip and goes down my leg. I tried it, and it seems to really penetrate well and make my hip feel better for a while. I got it at Tractor Supply, and it's Absorbine Veterinary Liniment Gel. The ingredients are menthol and alcohol, so I figure it can't hurt me. Has anyone else tried anything similar?
