Guest guest
I've been struggling for a week or so with much pain in left shoulder. Makes it hard to dress and climb into bathtub and even to drive. I admit this has gotten me kind of down. Helen
Guest guest
Hi Helen - I'm sorry to hear of your struggles. I can totally relate, though. I had the same kind of pain on my right shoulder. I ended up seeing an Orthopaedic Surgeon. I had bone spurs on the humeral head of my shoulder bone. While it was a painful surgery, each day had me feeling even better than before surgery. I'll admit there are days when I still have a tough time, but its still nothing like what it was before surgery. Hope this helps..... Guest guest
hi helen, i started out with the pain in my right shoulder, had some therapy on it.... it helped for awhile. the pain came back, only worse. then its in both shoulders now. the joints sound like crackling paper when i move them...lol... all my joints are like that. they are all deteriating..... some days i can't do anything but just sit and cry..... i have pain medicine that helps.... hope your shoulder will get better. arthritis will affect our bodies all over. its bad, but i have have learned to live with it, as i know its not much help out there. if you are younger, and can get medical help earlier, you will have a better out look than i do. betty

I am fairly young though and hope that the PT I am starting this week will help. Maybe PT is an option for you depending on your condition? I found PT quite helpful for FM and arthritis related joint paint I had in my knees. Hope your feeling better and find something that helps soon.
