Guest guest
Poor thing, are you taking anything for the yeast? I always start oral probiotics from the health food store. It will help w any yeast problems and also help repopulate your gut w good bacteria. Clotrimazole and miconizole don't work for me, so I get terconazole from my FP doc. If u r ouchy put plain yogurt in the applicator and use that too. Plus in the shower you can do a white vinegar rinse on your bottom and that can help your tender skin feel better. I'm a red head w super sensitive skin so if I get a YI, I'm miserable! And to babble a bit more, Enbrel isnt likely to be related to your YI. A yeast " infection " is actually not an infection, rather an overgrowth of normal levels of yeast that are kept in check by your healthy bacterial. The augmenting killed the good bac with the bad, leaving you out of balance and ouchy. Guest guest
I have had vaginal yeast infections unrelated to taking antibiotics. I did call and report this to the company. I have also had a vaginal Strep B infection, and also a combination of yeast and Strep B. I do stop the Enbrel when I have these infections. My thinking is that an infection is an infection, whether it's fungal, bacterial, or viral. Instead of getting respiratory infections while on Enbrel, I tend to get these vaginal infections, plus allergy problems.
