HI, sorry to hear of your illness. Aside from drugs, there are always natural

remedies that may work in this case. Ecchinacea is out for anyone with

auto-immune disorders. Astragalus may be a possiblity, try to ask a trained

naturopath or herbalist or find info online, to see if you can take that with

any meds you may be on.

Vitamin C is a safe bet, sometimes high doses work wonders with infection.

Elderberry is a time honored herb for flu. Most health food stores have this in

liquid formula and is quite safe. A homeopathic formula called occilocoxinum,

works great and homeopathic preps don't interact with drugs. And, diet. Stay

away from all refined sugar, just have a bit of honey (1tsp or 2 per day, that's

all) Eat chicken soup,(otherwise don't have much meat) and vegetable soup, with

anise or fennel. Don't overload your stomach. If you don't feel like eating

much, don't, but drink lots. Mostly water, herbal caffeine free tea. Don't

drink orange juice. Use vit C supplement instead. If you need relief for

symptoms don't use sugared up Neo-Citran, just take drugs in pill form, an hour

away from any herbs or vitamins.

Also, stay away from dairy until you are better. Take a calcium supp if you

feel it is necessary but usually for just a couple of weeks, no harm will be

done. You can get some calcium from dark green leafy

veggies.

I hope you feel better soon, and hope there is someone to take care of you. Even

if you feel a bit better one day, rest. Go outside as much as possible in the

sun.

All the best.
