Guest guest
, your " opinion " is contrary to what this group is about. Also, the post from outlined our behavior concerning medicine and advice given. In case you didn't read it, here it is again. I suggest you read it and heed it's words or be restricted or removed from the group. We don't need 'Rabble-Rousers' here. Dennis in eastexas " Dear RA-Support members, Please remember that advice received at RA-Support should never be acted upon without consulting your physician. For those who wish to give advice, please be careful. Members should not give specific medical advice (e.g., " don't take MTX " or " increase your prednisone to 10mg " - these are unacceptable). It's better to share your strategies for coping or to mention your personal experiences with certain treatments. Sending an article from a reputable source (and please include the link) is acceptable and welcome. I remind all group members that, at RA-Support, the main focus of discussion is rheumatoid arthritis and evidence-based medicine. As of 2010, there is overwhelming evidence that early and aggressive treatment of rheumatoid arthritis with disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs) leads to better outcomes. Guest guest
Dennis, I feel the same way. I think of you often and hope you are feeling better each day. I know your heart surgery is slow going. I also hope you are getting better pain meds., and hopefully, back on Pred. I know it is very hot in Texas, same here in South West, Florida. Tell Betty I said hello and I hope she is feeling better too. Nice to see you posting today. I have missed you. Wishing you many pain free days and a full recovery from your surgery.
