In Mickelson's defense, and it's quite possible that something may have gotten lost in translation, his physicians may have told him that it was possible that he could go into remission and stay in remission, even once Enbrel is discontinued ( " induction therapy " or " remission induction " ). Mickelson has a couple of tremendous advantages over the typical psoriatic arthritis patient: he was diagnosed very quickly and he was given Enbrel immediately. He responded very well, too, which is a excellent sign. It will be interesting to follow his case. I hope that Enbrel does put him in remission and that his optimism is well founded.
