Guest guest
Kami, What did your doc say about the softball size reaction? Did he say why that probably happened? The reason I ask it because the first 2 weeks I didn't have not even a sign that I gave myself an injection. The last two injection sights have made a big red whelp about the size of a 1/2 dollar but not painful. I see my doc the end of next week so one more shot before I see him. I feel like they never want to discontinue stuff just tell you to suck it up and keep going. So frustrating. > > , > > Please call your doctor. > > I had a great experience with Enbrel until week 6 when I started having softball sized site reactions. I had to stop medication immediately. > > Have you tried Cimzia? > > Kami > > > From: ktandtm > Sent: Sunday, October 17, 2010 12:14 AM > > Subject: [ ] enbrel effectiveness > > > > Hi I haven't posted in a while but had a question. I started enbrel 4 weeks ago. It was wonderful the first 2 weeks. Week 3 the pain started getting worse and now I just took my 4th shot yesterday and my hands, wrists, elbows and knees are back to the severe pain. I have also had fluid on my elbows for 1 year now and was hoping the enbrel would cause that to go down but it hasn't. > > Has anyone else had this happen? I can't add Methotrexate to it. Its a drug I can't take. I had to stop the Arava due to low white blood cell counts. I am just frustrated. I have heard of these TNF's not working after a period of time but never this fast. > > Any info would be great. > > Thanks, > > > >
Guest guest
I still have what kind of looks like a bruise from the injection 2 weeks ago. Its gonna look terrible if I have these all over my body if its going to take several weeks for them to go away. > > > What did your doc say about the softball size reaction?
