Ok Ok I can't stand it any more. ROFLLL here in the Great Pacific Northwest

we eat grits any ole way we can get them! Red eye gravy? Ohhhhh yeah but

ya never had grits until you eat them the way my husband asks for them.

Butter under two eggs over easy on top and maple syrup!!!!

I eat oatmeal! ROFLLLL

Yes Lori, Y'all can buy instant grits right next to the pancake mix at any

self respecting grocery in the south. If you are really desperate, I'll

send

you a package. They have no nutritional value, so they are a terrific

comfort food. I heard a terrible rumor about some YANKEES who eat grits

with

milk and sugar like oatmeal, but that is against the law in Georgia. In

fact

it might be a capital offense. You eat grits with butter or " red-eye

gravy " ,

which you make by pouring coffee in the pan the you fried your country ham

in. mix the coffee with all that grease and little bits of burnt ham and

pour it on your grits. What? you say you've never had country ham??? Thats

a whole 'nother story. So salty that you shrivel up. You have to soak it

for 2 or 3 days in water to remove enough salt to make it edible.!!!

I'll be happy to send emergency packages of instant grits to anyone in

need. I'll omit the red eye gravy.
