Guest guest
Gretchen, I switched from Naprosyn to Vioxx about 4 months ago for arthritis and it works very well for me. C
Guest guest
Gretchen, I took Vioxx and had no relief of my symptoms. However, in hindsight, the pain I was experiencing may not have been directly related to the joints. I didn't have any noticeable side effects from taking the medication for the month I was on it. Guest guest
Gretchen, I have been taking Vioxx for about 6 weeks now for carpal tunnel. So far as I can tell, it has not helped my hands at all. However, it seems to be helping my knees, and I am having less trouble with stairs. I haven't noticed any side effects (other than more money spent at the drug store!). Yours, PS - I took your advice from a few weeks ago to heart and made an appointment at the local MDA clinic for early February. My sister's neurologist reviewed my records and said that I definately have some form of PN, but wasn't convinced it's CMT. I'll keep you posted. In the meantime, I hope it's OK if I continue to visit this board.

Guest guest
Hi I have had the EMG, approx. 5 years ago. It went will, and only hurt a little bit, during the process. Afterwards, I felt fine. I walked out of the hospital, then took the bus home. Arriving 1 1/2 hrs. later. For man years now, I have been experiencing much nerve pain. My doctor has given me NEURONTIN. Also; for pain and spasms, I have been talking CARBAMAZEPINE. This medication seems to help, with most of my pain.
