Guest guest
Either one of your shoes is overinflated or your legs need alignment. Or, maybe you're walking up and down hills too much. LOL Are you having much trouble with your back? It can cause you to aim off-center, as well as dragging one leg a little. Someone needs to watch you walk to see just what's going on. My left leg is starting to drag my shoe a little because the muscles are getting weak. I've been diagnosed with scoliosis in my lower back and pinching nerves to my left leg. They're supposed to do a Mylogram sometime soon to see what needs operating on to fix it. If my insurance will allow it, that is. They've turned down all other testing on my back and legs so far. I guess I'll have to switch to another insurance or back on Medicare. Guest guest
Thanks Dennis this is food for thought. My lower back aches, but I have no disc/nerve trouble that I know of. I am certainly going to tell my doc, but its weird because I didnt have my arch shoe inserts when I noticed it, its not a leg dragging thing, its more like a sudden coordination problem. Thanks, OKD
Guest guest
Hi...It is probably something minor, but this was a symptom of my daughter's MS. It should be checked out. Guest guest
:: I have this problem! I 'wander' (that's what I call it.) I'll veer to the left, self correct, and veer to the right. It's a good thing I haven't had to 'walk the line' for a sobriety test! Check your feet. My feet are so flat now they almost go the other way. I wear special orthodics, but the new rocker shoes are even better. When your feet are flat or you have plantar fasciatis, your feet will try to not walk on those sore areas by rolling to the sides. Look at the bottom of your shoes and see where the sole has been worn. Not sure why, but my gait is changing and I have to consciously steer myself back to the middle. Anybody have this problem? Guest guest
OKD, I had a simular problem and started wearing the sketchers shape ups, I no longer have the issue, the shoes are like walking on a cloud and have great support, fit tightly around my foot and have increased how far I can actually walk around. It is worth the $100 I paid for them. I no longer walk on the side of my feet either. in land [ ] The weirdest thing - veering to the right Does anyone here have this problem: I find now that when I am walking, I tend to veer off to the right, without being able to control it. Guest guest
I am going to mention this to my new RA (whenever I find one, they hired someone in my hospital to start in September). I have been looking at these shoes for awhile now. They sure are very expensive! If the problem persists, I may break down and buy them, funny, but they probably cost $20 to manufacture. Funny about sneaker prices. I used to make my kids get summer jobs if they wanted those damn Jordans and the Nike of the day (hate those sneaker guys for making expensive ones that all the kids want). Guest guest
OKD, please do mention this to one of your physicians ASAP. Just so you are aware, it is possible for Enbrel to cause " MS like " symptoms.
