Has anybody used Arthritis Gloves?

Since I am new at this RA and its' symptoms I am almost relieved to hear

about your sore palm side knuckles. Yes--it is an evil ache. ellen

Hi Group:

Ugh, so last few days, inside knuckles (of the palm) hurting/aching like crazy.

I broke down, using Voltaren Gel 3 times per day and now I bought these

" arthritis gloves " off of Amazon.com

Has anybody used these gloves? Do they work? The aching is constant.

actually I went to Rehab yesterday and they gave me the gloves, my hand feels

better with the Volataren Gel. Also, my doc put me on an emergency Prednison

pack for 4 days cause my hand is very swollen. So left hand swollen knucks,

right foot metartarsal stress fracture...this has been a fun week

I think that they docs should have referred us to Rehab ALOT MORE. This helped

me alot yesterday, I dove my hands into some hot sand-looking material for a few

minutes and the therapist taught me how to use the gloves and hold my hands in

certain positions I didnt realize before.

Glad to know not everything is a pill!

Yes, they are compression gloves. I also ordered off of Amazon " athritis

gloves " which are fingerless compression gloves, cause these are tan and they

are getting dirty from my keyboard and also puttering around the house.

Voltaren Gel is by prescription, its the gel version of the same drug that is in

Flector patches. It helps me quite a bit with the achy-breakies.

Your Doc can give you a prescription. My walgreens carries it and I think

Walmart does too.

Voltaren Gel is a prescription medication. All pharmacies carry it. I have

used it with alot of pain relief.
