Guest guest
Hi All, Well, I was having such ankle pain, especially in my left ankle, that I decided to get " orthopedic " shoes. My friend had been wearing ZCoil shoes for three years at work, and she swears by them. Hers were the typical black shoe type, but I went for the tennis shoe. We work for an auto supplier on concrete flooring all day. I have to tell you that immediately I felt relief. I can go up and down the stairs (down is a little ouchy still), with vast relief. This is the weekend, so I have not worn them at work yet, but if they work this good at work, I'm getting a winter pair. Now, they are pricey - in the $200.00 range, but if you work and are in pain all day, hey, they're worth it, plus, most of us can claim them on our taxes. Oh, they even have " notty laces " for arthritis patients that you don't have to tie. _Z-CoiL® Pain Relief Footwear®_ (http://www.zcoil.com/) Here is the website I will let you all know how they are next week. Believe me, working on concrete all day is really a test. Oh, there is another type of shoe from a different company, called Masai, but I've never tried them. They have nice styles, but look like thicker soled tennis shoes. Like to hear feedback on those. For work, I need a few pair of orthopedic shoes. I'm tired of suffering. One more thing, for those of you who take tramadol, I do also, and have since 2000. For some reason, it give me energy, and one pharmacist said, " It does energize about 7% of the people who take it. " Also, it really takes some of the pain away, and it is not that strong. I take three a day.
