Guest guest
Hi Vivian! I am sorry that Cimzia did not work for you. I had what I felt were good results (not great like I did with Humira) and am very disappointed that I had to stop this medication for a month. I see my rheumy on Thursday and am having her inject my elbows and possibly my one knee. I did not realize just how much it HAD been helping until I stopped it. Was Cimzia the first medication you tried? What about Humira or Enbrel? What is next on your list of meds? Hope your bloodwork comes back good! I too will be off Cimzia because of adverse reactions to it. I have not been long enough on it to see the benefits - had only two injections. I know about the pain...last night it woke me up. I am so sorry for you. I am praying that there is something else they can give you that works and is not cost prohibited. Take care and thanks for all your help! Guest guest
Hi Kami, He tried me on Enbrel first (one shot only) I had very little side effects from it. When I came back to get the supply of trial meds while they worked with my insurance he had switched me to Cimzia - I was told it was stronger than Enbrel. I go to see them next Tuesday - they will decide what to give me next. I think the problem is that the Cimzia flared my Lupus. I am having severe exhaustion/fatigue, same pain as I had prior to being diagnosed with Lupus. My RA pain did not improve with Cimzia. Praying that your labs get back to normal. Thanks and god bless- Vivian
