Guest guest
Maureen, At least you now KNOW what's going on. When my SLD was diagnosed, I wanted to be happy (at least I knew), cry, and be sick all at the same time. The fear that something would interfere with the repair was what bothered me, of course. And the acid was about to eat me alive! I'd always had gastric problems pre-op, so all of a sudden they were BACK! And I was NOT looking forward to a life of pain. However, since my revision, I am fine, the excess wt fell right off & there is no more discomfort. YIPEEE! Guest guest
Ask your doctor to transect the stomach also. I understand from my doctor that it reduces the chance of staple line breakdown. Peace, A __________________________________________________
