Guest guest
Oh Jane, bless his heart!! Poor little guy. He will certainly be in my prayers. A kidney stone can hurt like the dickens. And our little grands are the most precious of all!! And yes, been there done that on Medicaid. Myself & 3 children walked that road. What a pity we get treated like that. We do in fact have some prayer-ers here May God bless and keep you and be with your grandson to help relieve the pain and give you peace of mind. Guest guest
Hi Jane: Oh, poor little Mick. It is just awful the pain he has. So young to be suffering so much. I pray they can break up the stone so he can pass it. If not, then I pray if he has surgery, that it will be finally gone, and he will be out of all this suffering. They were supposed to refer him to a urologist on Monday. My daughter finally had to go postal on her primary doc's office staff yesterday after his second trip to ER. (I could literally hear him screaming in the background while I talked to his mom.) They discovered that their insurance person had never contacted the urologist. He's on medicaid and we know how some doctor's offices treat medicaid patients, don't we. Long story short, he is at the hospital about to have that laser or ultrasound or whatever to try and break up the kidney stone. Please be praying that works, or they will have to send him to Children's in Dallas for surgery since the kidneystone is way too big for him to pass. It's very rare for a kid his age to have this happen, but he takes after his mama and she is prone to them. He's Nana's boy and this has been so hard on him. Will let you know how things go on.
