Guest guest
Now I really need to have someone smack me upside the head with a 2 x 4 !! Your traumas are bringing mine to light - I must & have to be greatful for what is NOT happening to me, there are others worse off than me and oh my dear Tawny - God has given you - whether you know it yet or not, but he's given you the strength to do what is necessary in your life. You made me just realize that there is always someone out there with a heavier load needing God's help than myself! Love you dearly and will talk to you soon, From: tdianaok <tdianaok@...> Subject: [ ] Thanks (OT) Date: Monday, September 14, 2009, 8:54 PM I am taking one day at a time. My body is fighting me right now, and I'm in so much pain, its hard to deal with. My brain is exhausted, so I'm mentally drained. I'm hangin' on though. I just want to thank everyone for the kind words, prayers and support. It means so much to me, and it helps a LOT. Barbara has been a angel, and forwarded all the wonderful posts. I hope to feel better, and get back on the board. Thanks, Tawny
Guest guest
, You are so right, there is always someone that has a BIGGER problem. But, no matter how little or big it is; its important. I lived in a third world country for awhile, and I tell you, it changed me. It brought light to me, how lucky I am. I am very grateful for so many things God had given me. I am dealing the best way I can right now. With great friends, it helps so much. Love you friend, Tawny > > >
Guest guest
.....never negate your painful emotions because someone elses is worse. Decades ago I lost a baby at 4th month gestation. My hosp room mate lost hers at 9th month. I decided I was lucky not to have waited all 9 months. WRONG I ended up quite suicidal trying to supress my emotions.... Her loss was her loss, mine was mine. Trying to squeltch mine and deny my feelings had me quite suicidal. We must deal with emotions ,not evaluate them compared to anothers.... A parent who loses 1 child is no better off than one who loses 2. Blessings, love and light.... Guest guest
Hi Tawny: I know you have been through hell these past weeks. I am glad you are hanging in there, and posting again. Welcome back! We have all been so worried and concerned for your health and well being. Taking one day at a time, is a good thing. That is how I have dealt with my RA, and this past year of hell. I am so happy you will see your Rheumy Wed., and I am sure she will be able to help you with all your pain and suffering. You so need relief from it. Wishing and praying for you to be pain free soon. God loves you, and so do all of us. Please rest as much as you can. Things have a way of working out. Love and hugs, Barbara > > I am taking one day at a time. Guest guest
Here's your mental picture, Tawny. We're at my house, each one of us has a couch and a blankie, a nice cup of tea, and a plate of cookies. Neither one of us is in pain today and we are watching a Tyler movie with Chas, and laughing our heads off. Then since we're not hurting, we're going to go shopping for my mother of the bride dress, since we also have imaginary money. And since we have imaginary money, we are going to buy lots and lots of shoes, and chocolate. And then we're going out to lunch somewhere wonderful and we're not going to gain a pound! And since this is imaginary, all the girls (and guys if you want!) on the RA group are going to load up on a bus and go to the spa on my imaginary money. aaahhh....don't you feel better already? lots of gentle hugs and prayers from Jane in still rainy dallas... > > I am taking one day at a time.
