Guest guest
If it is possible a nap really helps. I try to sneak in an hour long nap in the afternoon; it helps me keep going until after supper, then I take it easy again. Between the RA and menopause energy is a thing of the past. Guest guest
Phyllis, My rheumatologist advised me to take an OTC supplement called " CoQ10 " , available wherever vitamins and supplements are sold. (WalMart often has it on sale as a " 2 for 1 " ). She said it really helps some people develop more energy, but some people don't notice any difference. My fatigue is so bad that I decided it was worth a try - and it really does seem to help. She told me to take 100 mg. after breakfast and another 100 mg. after lunch (no later than that, for sleep reasons). Guest guest
Hiya Marsha- I'll go over it with the Doc first. I am on 15 different meds now- including heart meds, and have to check OTC and herbal supplements too. But thanks for the heads up! Fatigue is brutal, it just seems to suck what life we have out of us doesn't it? I am at the beginning of this wild little ride and I just had no idea that THIS was what my mom went through every single day. I can't even apologise to her, she's gone now. I know I feel resentment that people just don't get it. Well, I didn't get it before I had it myself. Guest guest
the nap in the afternoon really helps me. i don't sleep much at night, so i get sleep when i can. it makes for a crazy life sometimes....lol.... the no energy, no sleeping..... all goes along with RA. so does depression.... hope you can get to some kind of rest routine. betty
Guest guest
marsha, do you recall how long it took before you realized it was helping? I saw that at walmart last night but passed it over for folic acid... > > Meg-Â I'll be lookin' for my wand.... > > Â > > Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â in SC > > Â > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi All, > > Any ideas on how to get my energy back?
