Guest guest
Went to my rheumatologist yesterday. I am intolerant of any anti-inflammatory - not even one Ibuprofen on a full stomach. Have lived on Prilosec, Zantac, Pepcid, etc. if I take anything for a few days. Celebrex was FABULOUS for about 2 weeks, then I thought I was having a heart attack. So, yesterday he tells me that he has a very small number (like 3) of patients taking this prescription " medical food " supplement, Limbrel, that is supposed to mimic a 2 inhibitor, but not mess with your stomach. I look it up, and its primarily prescribed for osteoarthritis (which thankfully I don't have). As a reminder, I have about a decade of perfect lab results (seronegative) despite the progression of my disorder. If it would work anywhere near what the Celebrex did, I would be ecstatic. Have to get it filled tomorrow. Hopefully it doesn't cost a small fortune. Anyone else ever take it? Any advice? Thanks, Deborah
