Guest guest
For Gout: Every 2 hours drink baking soda in water (tablespoon to 8 oz), sometimes this stops it right away, sometimes it takes up to 2-3 treatments of this to stop the pain/inflamm. Also, massive quntitties of cherry juice on the first day, like half gallon straight, its strong, buy the one with no sugar. Also incorporate dark berries into your diet every day. Drop the red meat entirely from your diet for 2-3 weeks, go for at least 7 days of nothing but veggies and dark greens....then only maybe once a week have it... Good luck, I cured my husband with the above, you have to detox from the gout, you have too much uric acid in your system. Part of the probklem is you are too acidic you have to be more alkaline and then create balance....look up alkaline diet,. OKD
Guest guest
Sorry DEB (PS I went to Nursing School too), your are right I should clarify: The medications you describe are terrifically hard on the liver and other organs. They are poison, and hard on the body. This is a natural, alternative method that is easy. YOU CANT EXCEED 4 TEASPOONS A DAY OF BAKING SODA (I should have posted that, sorry) Doctors dont cure, they diagnose, you have to go out and find for yourself alternative methods, otherwise you will be stuck taking poison. When you have GOUT, you are full of uric acid (hyperurecemia). If you bring yourself to alkaline you wont have the gout. There are foods that naturally bring you to alkaline (cherries, dark berries) (dark leafy green veggies, etc) and in a crisis so does baking soda. Yes, baking soda is full of sodium, so thats why they recommend a veggie diet for 7 days, no salt as you do it... Personally also, I know VERY VERY few people that suffer eating vegetarian for 7 days. Of course, one can incorporate legumes into the salad to get your protein, a handfull of nuts, etc... PS there is no doctor, unless he is very progressive that will recommend alternative therapies. Their goals are to push the meds. This is tried and true, it worked for my husband who is a diabetic, congestive heart failure and obese who had GOUT. He has not had it since, when he feels it coming on we do the baking soda (teaspoon in 8 ounces of water) every 2 hours until the pain susides, not to exceed 4 teaspoons. We have increased dark green leafy veggies, a handful of cherries a day as a snack (or black or blueberries) and he hasnt had an attack since. Doctor's dont know everything, if they did, we wouldn't need this support group. Shoot, half the time I can ask my grandma for a family remedy and get cured and the doctors will study them for 20 years and then go EUREKA - L0L:)) OKD
