Guest guest
Jill, in the early years, the RA was mostly in my muscles, not the joints, so I can relate to your situation. I learned later that Fibro was involved and still can't figure out which one is playing with me after 20 years of dealing with it. One thing you can count on is that it will get worse, better, or stay the same! I hope it gets better for you. Guest guest
Hi Jill, You do need to see a doctor. I've been having problems with my left leg, forever. It would swell, tingling, numbness, just a irritating feeling. I was finally diagnosed with neuropathy pain. I also have fibro, and it can be very painful. Had pain for years:( You really need to talk with your doctor though, and maybe he can pinpoint the problem. I was put on neurontin at first, for neuropathy pain. It did help the leg pain and swelling. After adding cymbalta, it has really helped. The cymbalta helps neuropathy pain and fibro, so I lucked out. You take care, and keep us posted. I'm no where near as bad as I was in the past, but clearly I am regressing. One of the things that always baffles my mind is how the RA spreads to different areas.
