Guest guest
Hi All, It's been a while since I've posted. Am on Rhemicade and MTX. The mtx makes me really ill, but the Rhemicade doesn't seem to be a problem. I just had Xrays done and I haven't had any further deterioration. Yeah! My GP also gave me a prescription for something called Keto-flex which is a compound specifically made up at the pharmacy. Apparently there aren't too many of the compounding pharmacys around, but if you can find one, this seems to do the trick during those really rough days. There is also a voltern gel that works OK. The KetoFlex works better for me as long as I don't get it in my eyes (don't ask). I read about those pesky people that do not have a clue in some of the earlier posts. When i started this journey, my hubby was like the neighbor. I told my husband that it's like how he feels the next day after raking up all the leaves in the yard, only it never goes away. Sometimes people just hear the word arthritis and since they are so clueless, they don't understand the difference between Rhematoid and Osteo Arthritis. Good luck to all!
