Guest guest
Hi Lori, That is what I was afraid of...it is an injection! Errgh! I hate shots. I'm looking for something else that isn't a shot. But it looks like there isn't anything else out there in pill form. I googled Simponi and it said that the FDA just okay'd it on April this year. I'm really praying for the best for your husband. Please do let us know how it goes with the Simponi. Michigan > > > Hi , > > Not a silly question at all. I am still learning too. Guest guest
The injections are really no big deal. When I first started I, like you, was very apprehensive about it. After the second injection I realized there wasn't anything to it. Now I would prefer to give my self an injection rather than let the health care " professional " do it. In terms of MTX after taking it orally for months then switching to injections I found it to be much better, less hard on the digestive system, less side effects, and overall much more effective. Guest guest
Yeah, I'm still in the process of thinking about it. I'm so sick of choking down handfuls of pills everyday. I figure I might be able to get through ONE shot once a week or better yet once a month. Yearly would be even better! LOL! Michigan The injections are really no big deal.
