Guest guest
> Anyone ever have to take Rabies shots? > > We are staying in our summer home. A bat finds its way into the house. We catch it and remove it - let it go (found out you NEVER let them go - they need to be tested for Rabies). Oh well it is gone - it did not get near anyone since we were awake. > > Three nights - I wake up to noise in the cold air return...Oh no - I'm thinking. I get up - bathroom break - come out of the bathroom - to a bat flying past my face. > > We call the local wildlife guy - he searches the house - can't find a bat. We are told to call the local Health Department - they tell us to go to the emergency room and start the Rabies shots. We actually do not believe that we were bitten or scratched - but we have found out that you can be bitten or scratched and never know it.. Who knew > > Ok, so now - I will not be able to take my Enbrel for 4 weeks (2 weeks after the last shot - shots on day 0, day 3, day 7 and day 14. > > Any suggestions on a natural product to take to help with the inflammation that will of course show up at about day 14? > > Doctor said to call if I need pain medication but I know that does not help with the inflammation. > > Anyone else out there ever have to take the Rabies shots? > > Thanks everyone.
