Guest guest
I started my new job on tuesday and it seems to be going well. I am a case worker for adults with intellitual disabilities. I had a great day up until about 2:30 today. I got a phone call from my mom and my dad was in the hospital again. I immediately called my boss and explained the situation to him because i was suppose to be on my way to the office. Well, he said he understood and I promised to bring in a note. I got the note in my computer bag for tomorrow to take to him. I then went to the hospital to join my mom and as soon as I saw him I knew that it was his gall bladder again acting up and told my mom this time they are going to take it out. Tomorrow he has surgery. They took his blood and the machine that counts the white blood cells couldn't read it because it was greater then what the machine was programmed for. The doctor and the surgeon both came in and said that he has to have the procedure done 1st thing in the morning. The can't do it laproscopically because my father is a big guy and carries a big beer gut, makes him look like he is pregnant. Anyway, they are doing the surgery 1st thing in the morning, well I can't be there, I have to goto work. I am worried about it all. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers please. This morning while brushing my hair I heard a loud pop from my upper spine right below my neck, my neck is now very stiff and hurts like hell. Whenever I raise my hand over my head it hurts worse and if I stop moving for more then about 10 mins it gets very stiff again. If anyone has any ideas on how I can soothe it let me know, not even my pain meds are working this time around for this one. in land
