Guest guest
I did it again! Today I went to an Indian restaraunt that had a lunch buffet. I don't know too many people that like indian food. We have a new restaraunt that I've been wanting to try. It has gotten really good reviews and the chef I guess used to cook for the Dalai Lama. I was by myself and again, on purpose, I did not bring a book. I went through the buffet and took just a small amnt, about 2 tblsp of each item. Then I tasted each thing and if I didn't like I didn't finish it. Most everything tasted really good. I ate slowly and mindfully really taking in all the different spices and flavors. Hmmm, I could get used to and actually enjoy eating by myself without any book! Maybe someday I just might enjoy eating at home in the same fashion without the company of the TV. Definately a work in progress! One thing I have observed is that rarely do you see a woman eating by herself in a restaraunt. And if you do, they usually are reading something. But I have seen many men eating by themselves. Sometimes they are reading, many times they are not. I was wondering what other's experiences are in eating by themselves, esespecially in restarants. And would especially love to here some of the men's perspective on this. Alana
