Yesterday after delivering a lecture to my students, I almost passed out. I had

felt funny all morning but chalked it up to anemia. But after scaring my

students, my heart was pounding, I got very nauseous and started perspiring. I

thought " great. I'm having a heart attack. " Instead of going to the ER (which

I don't know why i didn't) I went to my GP. She ran another blood test, still

anemic but better. She did an EKG. Nothing. Other blood tests show nothing.

I had center chest pains on and off all night with severe fatigue. I went to

bed at 9 and couldn't drag myself out of bed to go teach this morning. I went

and had an XRay and I'm PRAYING it shows something. It's been one thing after

another for two years now. Even my husband is getting tired of " a new problem

every month. " (I had pneumonia, kidney stones and cellutis this year!) Now

this. My coworkers can be extremely catty. One told me on Monday my problem is

that I go to see the doctor in the first place. (This from a woman with a huge

cyst on her breast)

I am home from work. Again. My heart occasionally races, I'll get dizzy and I

will sweat buckets! I can't drive like this. I work 30 minutes away. The pain

is in the center of my chest but it only lasts a couple of seconds. I am losing

my breath walking up the stairs. I know this isn't normal! I am only 40 and I

feel like I am 80. Help! I'm at a low point right now.

G.
